  The Dutch Reformed Church has a brilliant and long history in America, especially in New York...but tradition and history aside, this church is one of the most welcoming, inclusive, and accepting places, I have ever visited. Most of this is due to its Pastor, the Reverend Dr. Eric Titus. I grew up in the church following certain customs and traditions without truly understanding the why...Now those questions are always answered during a truly intellectual sermon. Come for the music, stay for the sermon and enjoy the fellowship afterwards. Sunday School and daycare also provided.
  In addition, St. John's has a non-judgmental food pantry, open to all in need. A free weekly COMMUNITY lunch and supper is held most every Wednesday and survives on donations only. ALL are welcome.

  Very welcoming congregation. Upon arrival I was greeted by 6 parishioners including the pastor. Service was good, potluck was excellent.

  It is a place where I am at peace. It is a church where I grew up in feel really at home. ERIC IS GREAT
